M. Davis Recognized by ABC for Safety, Quality, and Performance

M. Davis is proud to be recognized by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) with several honors that highlight our commitment to safety, quality, and overall performance. These recognitions include achieving the STEP Diamond Level Award, recertification as an Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC), and being named a 2026 ABC Top Performer.

STEP Diamond Level

Safety is the foundation of every successful project. M. Davis achieved ABC’s highest level, Diamond, in the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP). The STEP program provides a framework for contractors to evaluate and strengthen their safety programs, implement industry best practices, and continuously improve safety performance. Participation in STEP is conducted annually, and companies are recognized at multiple levels, including Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, based on safety performance and program effectiveness. Achieving Diamond level reflects M. Davis strong company safety culture and ongoing commitment to keeping employees and job sites safe.

Accredited Quality Contractor

Building on this strong safety foundation, M. Davis has also been recertified as an ABC Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC). The AQC program is open to ABC contractor members who have been in business for a minimum of 3 years and have earned STEP Gold, Platinum, or Diamond level recognition. The program recognizes contractors that demonstrate excellence in quality, safety performance, talent management, craft and management education, and community relations. Companies that qualify are accredited for one year and must renew annually, reflecting a continuous commitment to operational excellence.

ABC Top Performer

Because of this continued dedication to safety and company-wide performance, M. Davis has also been named an ABC Top Performer, ranking 75th out of 250 contractors recognized nationally. ABC’s Top Performers are contractor members who demonstrate high performance in safety, quality, inclusion, project excellence, and workforce development. To qualify, companies must achieve STEP Gold level or higher and hold the Accredited Quality Contractor credential, demonstrating sustained commitment to both safety and quality.
